MEET MANNY
As a kid, I fell in love with comics and animation. But passive reading and watching wasn’t for me. I wanted to know everything about them. I researched their history and studied the process of character creation so that I could make my own.
While studying graphic design in college, I had an opportunity to create branding for a food delivery service. The project called for something fun and lively, so I tapped into my love of character design. The client loved it. And I loved the feeling of turning a concept into a character that brings personality to a brand and excites customers.
Over 20 years later, that feeling hasn’t gotten old. When good people want their businesses to project friendliness and creativity, crafting their unique mascot still puts me on Cloud Nine every single time.
